Location and Access
Where exactly is the chalet located?
Chalet Mont Milo is located in the unspoilt hamlet of Pramorel, in Briançon, at 1,400 metres altitude. It's 5 minutes by car from the Chantemerle and Prorel lifts.
Where are the nearest shops?
Briançon and its shops (supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants) are 5 minutes by car from the chalet.
How far away are the nearest slopes?
The Chantemerle and Prorel lifts are 5 minutes by car, two direct access points to the 250 km of slopes in Serre Chevalier Valley.
Is it easy to park at the foot of the slopes?
Yes, parking in Serre Chevalier and Briançon is well organised. Several free car parks, both covered and open-air, are located just 100 metres from the lift departure points.
Can you get to the slopes without a car?
Yes, thanks to our private Resalp shuttle (at a preferential rate negotiated exclusively for our guests), which drops you directly at the foot of the slopes in the morning, in Chantemerle or at the Prorel, and picks you up again in the evening at the time you choose.
How does the private shuttle between the chalet and the slopes work?
Thanks to our partnership with Resalp, you get a private shuttle straight to the slopes. Pick-up is right outside the chalet, and the return trip runs at a time of your choosing. A preferential rate is confirmed when you book. Discover our Services & Concierge.
Is the private shuttle suitable for families and groups?
Yes, the shuttle can carry up to 8 people, so the whole family or group is dropped off together right at the foot of the slopes, in Chantemerle or at the Prorel depending on your choice, at a preferential rate negotiated exclusively for our guests.
How do you get to the chalet (train, plane, car)?
Serre Chevalier Valley is one of the most accessible valleys in the Hautes-Alpes:
Train: Briançon station, or Oulx station in Italy, 45 minutes away.
Plane: transfers from Grenoble or Turin.
Car: 3 private parking spaces beneath the terrace, with direct access to the ski room.
Accommodation and Capacity
What's the maximum capacity of the chalet?
The chalet can accommodate up to 10 people. Its 5 bedrooms and 160 m² make it ideal for large families and groups of friends.
How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there?
The chalet has 5 bedrooms: Grand Aréa, Granon, Izoard, Rochebrune and Lautaret. They're spread across two floors, with 2 bathrooms.
How are the living spaces laid out?
The chalet has a living room renovated in 2025 and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. You'll also find a games room (pool table, table football, air hockey), a private 3-person sauna and a heated ski room. An outdoor terrace offers panoramic views of the mountains and the Grand Aréa.
Renovation and Amenities
Has the chalet been renovated recently?
Yes, the chalet was renovated in 2025: a new living room, new dining room and new bedrooms.
What comfort features does the chalet have?
For your comfort, the chalet offers: a high-performance pellet stove, a 22 kW electric car charger, and a heated ski room with boot dryer.
Does the chalet have an electric car charger?
Yes, Chalet Mont Milo has a private 22 kW charger. It's included free for the whole stay for bookings made directly on montmilo.com.
Is there a space suitable for remote work?
Yes. A desk area is available, with a high-speed fibre connection, so you can combine work and mountain living with total peace of mind.
Kitchen and Meals
How is the kitchen equipped?
It's a chef's kitchen built for groups: oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, induction hob and several small appliances. You'll also find everything you need for mountain evenings: raclette, fondue and stone-grill sets, plus a blender.

Comfort and Services
Is the chalet suitable for families with children?
Chalet Mont Milo is designed with children in mind: a games room (pool table, table football, air hockey), a library with comic books and plenty of board games. We provide a safety gate, travel cot, high chair, booster seat and baby bath free of charge.
Is there a housekeeping service?
End-of-stay cleaning is always carried out by our team, so you can leave with total peace of mind. It's charged at €140.
Is the chalet accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately not. The chalet's two-storey layout, with stairs, doesn't allow for suitable wheelchair access.
Are sheets and towels provided?
Linen is available as an option: €28 per double bed, €14 per single bed.
What's the policy on pets?
Pets aren't allowed, I'm afraid.
Skiing and Activities
What altitude is the chalet at, and what are the snow conditions like?
Chalet Mont Milo sits at 1,400 metres altitude. The Serre Chevalier Valley ski area typically has snow cover for skiing from early December to mid-April.
Which ski area do you have access to?
Serre Chevalier Valley, with its 250 km of slopes, is 5 minutes from the chalet.
Is the ski school easy to reach?
The ESF ski school meeting point in Serre Chevalier is right on the snow front, 5 minutes by car or shuttle from the chalet, ideal for dropping the children off in the morning.
What activities are available in summer?

Booking Policy
Why book direct rather than through a platform?
By booking on our official website, you save around 15%, the amount platforms charge in commission. You also get direct contact with us and greater flexibility.
What's the payment and cancellation policy?
A 30% deposit is required at booking. Your stay can be cancelled and fully refunded up to 60 days before arrival. In line with our terms, no refund is given for cancellations made after that date.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a €1,000 deposit is requested by bank transfer 3 days before your arrival, and returned by bank transfer on the day you leave.
How far in advance should you book?
School holiday weeks are usually the first to fill up. We recommend booking as early as possible for these periods.
