Set in the authentic surroundings of the hamlet of Pramorel, at 1,400 m altitude and just 5 minutes from the ski lifts and the heart of Briançon, our chalet opens its 160 m² entirely private space to comfortably host up to 10 people, in winter as in summer.

From the quiet hamlet of Pramorel, you reach the Chantemerle and Prorel ski lifts in just 5 minutes by car. This set-up lets children easily join their ESF lessons on the snow front, while the adults head for the resort's higher peaks, everyone moving at their own pace. To make getting around even easier, the AltiGo card given to you on arrival gives you free access to Briançon's local transport. From what age can children ski in Serre Chevalier Valley?
The Chantemerle ESF welcomes children from age 3 in its ski kindergarten, a secure area with magic carpets and instructors who specialise in teaching young children. Group lessons are structured by level and age group. On the budget side, children's lift passes come at reduced rates, and several sectors of the resort even offer free passes for under-5s. The ski school meeting point is just 5 minutes by car from Chalet Mont Milo.
What equipment is available for families with a baby or young children?
Chalet Mont Milo is set up to welcome very young children comfortably. On simple request when booking, a cot with a comfortable mattress, a high chair and a booster seat are installed before you arrive. On the activity side, sledging in the Pramorel meadows is suitable from age 2 thanks to the sledges we provide free of charge. Finally, the layout of the spaces across three distinct levels means the little ones can sleep undisturbed while the rest of the crew gathers in the living room.
Does the chalet offer enough space for a family with several children?
With its 160 m² spread across 3 levels and 5 bedrooms, the chalet is designed so everyone has their own space while still enjoying large shared rooms to come together in. The layout lets children and teenagers take over the games room independently while parents enjoy a relaxing moment in the sauna or on the terrace. How are the bedrooms arranged for our crew?
Chalet Mont Milo has 3 double bedrooms (Grand Aréa, Rochebrune, Isoard), one bedroom with 2 single beds (Lautaret, ideal for children) and one bedroom with bunk beds (Granon, popular with teenagers). These bedrooms are thoughtfully spread across two floors, with parents on the upper level and children on the middle level. Sandrine and Philippe are happy to advise you personally on the best set-up based on the age and number of your children.
What activities are available for children besides downhill skiing?
Serre Chevalier Valley offers a wide range of activities to mix things up. From age 2, children can go sledging right outside the chalet in Pramorel or try out the Briançon ice rink. From age 3, you can plan a dog-sledding taster session, time at the Briançon indoor pool, or a visit to the natural thermal pools at the Grands Bains du Monêtier.
What safety measures are in place for young children at the chalet?
Chalet Mont Milo was designed with family life in mind, built and used by Sandrine and Philippe with their own children. Stair gates and a safety screen for the pellet stove are available and fitted on simple request before you arrive. Parking is on a private space, and the terrace is directly accessible from the living areas. For parents who'd like some free time during the day or evening, the valley's ski schools offer ski-and-childcare packages from age 3, with small groups for individual attention. Carole will point you towards the best options when you arrive.
What are the booking terms for school holidays and short stays?
During the winter school holidays (Christmas, February and Easter), the chalet is only available to book by the week. As these periods are traditionally planned many months ahead, we recommend booking your dates 6 to 8 months before departure.
