Chantemerle and Prorel are two superb gateways to the ski area, just 5 minutes by car from the hamlet of Pramorel. Your group can build tailor-made ski days, suited to everyone's mood:

To make your departure completely seamless, the chalet's private parking, 3 sheltered spaces under the terrace, connects directly to the ski room. You load up the car fully dry and sheltered from the weather, and in just 5 minutes your crew is ready to hit the slopes.
Car or Shuttle: It's Your Call
Every morning, you choose the option that suits you:
- ›By car, at your own pace: direct access in 5 minutes to the lift car parks at Chantemerle or Prorel.
- ›By private Resalp shuttle (optional): pick-up right outside the chalet, drop-off at the foot of the Luc Alphand piste in Chantemerle or at the Prorel gondola, return at a time of your choosing, no need to get behind the wheel.
- ›Exploring Briançon: in town, free local transport thanks to the AltiGo card given to you on arrival, perfect for combining skiing at Prorel with some shopping or a visit to the Vauban citadel.

"Amazing chalet. Everything is set up to live here as if at home, a real second home. The bedrooms, toilets and bathrooms, spread over 3 floors, leave plenty of space and privacy even for a group of 10 people. The kitchen is made for cooking up good little dishes. The ski room and its dryers are very practical. Parking for 4 cars is possible, all of it sheltered. Very quiet street. The owners are wonderful hosts, and Chantal will welcome you with a lovely southern accent and great warmth. Games and toys for children are also on hand. The chalet's setting is magical, facing the mountain and the town, perched on a road that champions peace and quiet. As for proximity to the slopes, you do need some form of transport to reach them. The Serre Chevalier ski area was designed with access and parking for everyone. That said, skiing or snowboarding back down is doable with a good sense of direction and a bit of courage (I did it three times). We're thinking of coming back as a family for a summer stay, to experience the mountains in a different way."

Is Chalet Mont Milo a ski-in/ski-out chalet?
No, and we'd rather be upfront about it: the chalet isn't ski-in/ski-out, it's 5 minutes by car from Chantemerle and Prorel, in the quiet hamlet of Pramorel. In exchange, you get the choice of two sectors, a heated ski room, private parking and an optional shuttle, for a rate that's generally lower than a genuinely ski-in/ski-out chalet. Does the chalet suit a group with different ski levels and interests?
Yes, it's actually one of the chalet's biggest advantages: 5 minutes from both sectors, everyone can pick their own terrain by skill level, and the whole group reunites at the chalet at the end of the day.
Can you reach the ski area without using your own car?
Yes. Our optional private Resalp shuttle picks up your group at the chalet and drops you at the foot of the slopes, with a flexible return in the evening. The AltiGo card, given on arrival, also gives access to free transport in Briançon. And for snowshoeing or ski touring, the mountain starts right outside the chalet.

January and February are generally favoured for making the most of winter conditions, with the ski area rising to 2,800 m altitude. March often brings lovely spring skiing days and more sunshine.
